The unwinders are designed for unwinding metal rolls, winding tape rolls after cutting. In this case, the metal winder is installed in line together with the metal unwinder and the slitting machine. Unwinding of the roll occurs when the strip is pulled, or when the steering wheel is rotated. The STALEX machines use a unique self-tension system for incoming metal, so that the wound rolls are smooth in width and dense in diameter.
